One of my favorite sessions from this last week is hands
down the Frerich Maternity Session! Do not get me wrong, I love all my clients
because I am blessed beyond measure to be able to work with such amazing people
and be able to produce the work that I do.
This session was special though. To start with, we had been
planning for months. There were a lot of emails sent back and forth on what we
wanted to do, ideas, fun stories and some really weird pictures of maternity
shots that no one should ever do again. Seriously.
The setting for the session itself was downright beautiful. We started around 7:00 p.m. and finished
closer to 9:00 p.m. The sunset was gorgeous and there was an amazing breeze.
Thank you Jesus!
But the best part was the subjects. I have known this couple
for a long time. You could always tell that they loved each other, but seeing
them for this session it was like they had just fallen in love all over again.
They both have so much excitement for the life they are bringing into the world
and you can tell they are so happy to be in this together. I watched as he
would jump at the slightest amount of pain in her face and how she would laugh
out loud at the jokes he would make. I loved watching their eyes light up as I
moved them through their poses. I enjoyed their humor. It was a beautiful
session all around.
With all that being said, I absolutely loved how the
pictures turned out! The best part is putting all the time and planning into
action and seeing that end result of gorgeous pictures. They are more than I
could have hoped for when I was coming up with shots in my head.
I did lay in cow poop for the first time so I could get a
picture. It was dry so somehow that is supposed to make it ok? Just grass and
water I was told. I showered as soon as I got home and burned those clothes.
Totally kidding! I am dramatic but not that bad J
I also took a few pictures of their herd for their nursery.
I will have some of those shots available for purchase on my online store in
the next few days in case you see anything that you like.
Now time to pick up more planning for sweet baby J's arrival! I am excited like I am pregnant myself!
Until next week! Thanks for reading!
